Ramen is good. Small sushi selection, but good. They also have rice plates. The honey walnut shrimp and rice is delicious. Restaurant is small but cute. It’s a bit pricey. Always spend about $100 to $120 on 4 persons.

My husband and I tried this spot for the first time today, and we were seriously impressed! They've only been open for about three weeks, but everything was already running so smoothly. Our waitress was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our visit. The food? Absolutely amazing. You can check out the photos to see what we ordered—every single dish was delicious. The sushi stood out the most—the taste and quality were top-notch, and the portion sizes were unreal. These were hands down the biggest and freshest pieces of nigiri we've ever had in the Treasure Valley. I would say the chicken thigh skewers were a tad overcooked as they were a little more on the dry side. The ramen was rich and flavorful, and the agedashi tofu was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We’re already looking forward to coming back. I think we’ve found our new favorite Japanese restaurant in the Boise area. I really hope they keep up this level of quality, because they have so much potential to become a go-to spot. Highly recommend!

Good food, but very average everything else. The Ramen isn't really exceptional but it is still very good. The seating is rather close together. Even though there is dividers, you can hear everything from the table across, next to and behind you. Not crazy loud or anything, just consider what you want your neighbors hearing. The service was fair, judging by the time we were there. There was younger servers and they didn't seem to be able to handle being busy as they were getting a little confused and asking random tables who's orders were who's, but they did make up for it in kindness and going the extra mile in some areas. All in all a good experience and not bad food, just give yourself some time and have patience and don't expect fine dining. Would recommend the spicy Ramen and beef ramen.

We are beyond impressed with how our food was presented and tasted! Already planning the next visit and what we will be trying out. I got the poke bowl and a boba tea, my partner got the Dragon Roll and Sweet & Sour Chicken. Also appreciated the atmosphere and privacy we had while eating and talking. Wait time for our food was surprisingly short!

Kinya delivered a flavorful and unique dining experience! We really enjoyed the Mango Hawaiian and Rainbow sushi rolls — fresh, creative, and beautifully plated. The pork Tonkotsu Ramen was rich, savory, and packed with deep flavor, while the Veggie Ramen held its own with a surprisingly bold and satisfying broth. Service was excellent — friendly and attentive. Our server even surprised us with Mango and Matcha Mochi ice cream, which was a sweet and thoughtful way to end the meal. Highly recommend for fellow ramen lovers and sushi fans alike. We’ll definitely be back!

I was blown away. We had a party of 12 and they made an area in the back for us. That wasn’t the crazy part. We all ordered food and within 5 minutes, we ALL had our food. We were all blown away. The food was also spot on. The service was great. They were slammed that night and apologized for anything that wasn’t perfect and it wasn’t but the act of accountability is what made the experience awesome. Their team was spot on. Thank you guys! We will be back because the sushi and ramen were fantastic

This was our first visit and we were seated by Cindy. She was welcoming and approachable. She walked us through the menu and she knew the menu inside and out. The establishment was thoughful as they provided complimentary snacks- fried wanton skin. We ordered Kinya ramen, 3 sushi tacos- spicy crabmeat, eel avocado and shrimp tempura and a tropical roll. The ramen broth was rich with a creamy texture. The noodles were springy and perfectly cooked. The presentation of the sushi tacos were appealing and loaded with toppings but was a struggle to eat without a mess. The tables were spaced out and the lighting was decent. Keep up the good service.
